From September – March Highland Lassie offers a range of dining experiences for guests. Residents or non-residents are invited for lunch or dinner to feast around the Captain’s table which seats a maximum of 8 people, in the warmth of the saloon or take in the stunning scenery and dine alfresco on the jetty to take in the happenings on the Caledonian Canal. Oakwood Restaurant prides itself on sourcing only local produce from the Highlands & Islands ensuring you experience the very best from Scotland’s vast larder.
Bookings are essential for both lunch and dinner to save disappointment.

Should you not be fit for our full Scottish breakfast enjoy a lighter option to start your day. Enjoy boiled eggs, cereals, toast with a selection of jams & marmalades, smoothies or fresh orange juice. Should you require anything special for your breakfast just let us know at time of booking your cabin aboard so we can ensure you every wish is catered for.
Traditional Scottish Breakfast
A true Highland breakfast!
Start with cereal, granola, muesli or cereal. Fresh orange juice or smoothies.
Our delicious traditional cooked Scottish breakfast includes egg, fried, poached or scrambled with bacon, pork sausages, lorne sausage, black pudding, tattie scone, mushrooms, tomato & baked beans.
White or brown toast with a selection of fine Scottish jams raspberry & strawberry, orange & lime marmalades.
Lunches On The Jetty available when not cruising.
From September – March (or if not cruising) Oakwood Restaurant aboard Highland Lassie serves luncheons either aboard or alfresco on our outside seating area along the jetty looking onto the tranquil Caledonian Canal for both residents and non-residents. We do not take bookings for outside seating, however to save disappointment bookings are required to lunch aboard.
Our lunch menu is a light affair offering filled rolls, baked potatoes, paninis, burgers, soups and a selection of daily specials. We offer a take-away menu which also includes the full lunch menu.
Keep an eye on social media for special luncheon cruises into Loch Ness.
