Alsh Cabin

Scottish canal boat holidays
Are you tired of looking through pages and pages of hotel options in Inverness and not really seeing anything inspiring? Well, allow us to introduce you to the Highland Lassie, a converted fishing boat offering memorable Scottish canal boat holidays on the Caledonian Canal. Wake up every morning to a stunning view of the canal, the sounds of nature waking up and the calm lapping of water against the boat. And Loch Ness is on your doorstep, too. This is a holiday destination you will never forget.
Forget about hotel windows that open out onto a grey car park view. Speak to us about canal boat hire in Scotland for your next break. Our Alsh cabin has five windows that bring nature inside, giving you views right along the towpath and Caledonian Canal. Let the light stream in as you lay in bed with a coffee as the world wakes up on your Highland break.
Plenty of Room

A Scenic Respite from the World
Alsh is a bigger cabin that many people might think, giving you plenty of room around the double bed (complete with comfy and luxurious bedding, of course!). Relax and get up to date with our complimentary Wi-Fi. If you need an additional tablet, we would be happy to lend you one for your stay. Alsh comes with its own ensuite shower room to make sure you are always refreshed. Toiletries from Arran Aromatics and the fluffiest of towels help you on your way. So this really is Inverness accommodation like no other and makes for a superb canal holiday in the UK.

Book NowReviews
This must be Inverness’ best kept secret, my wife and I each had three generous courses, the food, all locally sourced was cooked to perfection and was well presented. The menu although not extensive has something for all tastes and theres also a daily specials board. The venue is small and intimate, its comfortable and welcoming. The service was excellent. Well done I will definitely be back.
